Provides a protective waterproof base beneath the first course of shingles. Zip strip seals down shingle tabs to protect from wind up-lift. Also use for roof flashing and gutter repairs. 50 mil (1.3 mm) thickness.
Waterproofing underlayment. Composed of a high tack rubberized asphalt, coated on a non-woven glass fiber mat. Lower surface has a split-release silicone release backing for ease of application. Specifically designed to provide secondary waterproofing protection to shingles as well as prevent ice damage and wind driven rain. Meets ASTM D1970-08 standard and is ICC listed. Self-sealing when penetrated by mechanical fasteners or roofing nails. Fully adhered system prevents lateral moisture migration. Sand surfaced for slip-resistance. UL Classified. Class A fire classification under fiber-glass shingles and Class C under organic felt shingles (per ASTM E108/UL 790). 1.3 mm thickness.
EPA approved; installs easily near the roof ridge; for composition shingle, shake or tile roofs (bend strips to conform to the shape of the tile); for long-lasting protection.
7 Mil thickness; meets ICC-ES-ESR-3905 standard; UV resistant; can be exposed for up to 6 months. Roll size: 10 sq. Made in USA.
For installation under new shingles to prevent leaks from ice build-up and wind-driven rain. Also for use under shakes or metal roofing. Asphalt composition fortified with rubber (SBS). Flexible and elastic at low temperatures. Top surface coated with sand to provide a safe, non-slip working area. Split-back release film, self-adhering, easy to apply, easy to cut to size. Self-sealing around nails. Will not rot or decompose. Meets ASTM D1970; U.L. Class A and C fire rating.
A replacement for #15 or #30 oil saturated felt; designed for steep slope roofing under asphalt shingles, synthetic shingles, residential metal roofing and cedar shakes; 12 times stronger than #30 felt; meets and exceeds ASTM D226 Types I & II and D4689 Types II & IV; 8 square more per roll compared to #30 felt; easier to install - wider, lighter and more coverage per lap; synthetic construction is impervious to mold; lays flat and does not absorb water and wrinkle; enhanced UV protection; no oil leaching, no hazardous material content; fiber grip slip-resistant walking surface; advanced backside non-slip coating; low temperature flexibility. Roll size: 10 sq. or 93m?.
Smooth, film surface link barrier with special adhesive for one-time repositioning, but aggressively adheres over time. Unique film surface pattern improves footing even in hot weather. Self seals around nails or metal roofing fasteners. Split back release film peels off in layers for faster installation and greater homeowner value. Fiberglass reinforcement helps resist wrinkling and buckling. Lays flatter under shingles. Design to withstand high metal roof temperatures and will not melt or flow. High temperature compound is suitable for most metal roof applications. For application under copper and zinc. Passes low temperature flexibility (-20 degrees) and waterproof integrity after low temperature flexibility requirements. Can be exposed for up to 60 days if necessary.
A single-ply, one-step, low-slope roofing membrane that can be left exposed to the elements. Silt sizes are ideal for roofing, patching, gutter repair, flashing and any hard-to-waterproof area. Composed of a laminate of reflective aluminum foil, rugged, cross-linked polymer films and a thick layer of rubberized asphalt. The asphalt adhesive aggressively adheres to most surfaces and self-seals around punctures to form a waterproof barrier. Requires no coatings or covering for exposure to sunlight and is flexible to conform ro odd shapes. Aluminum 4", 6" and 9" come in shrink-wrapped and labeled rolls. Meets ASTM D 1970, ICC-ES AC-75, UL Class A fire rating, Miami Dade County approved and Florida Building code.
