A self-adhering membrane consisting of an SBS rubberized asphalt compound which is integrally laminated to a blue-engineered film. Excellent adhesion to prepared substrates of concrete, concrete block, primed steel, aluminum mill finish, anodized aluminum, galvanized metal, gypsum board and plywood; impermeable to air, moisture vapor and water; easy to install peel and stick application, no flame required; thickness controlled at point of manufacture; membrane is self-sealing when penetrated with self-tapping screws or nails. Thickness: 25 mils.
Self-adhering membrane consisting of an SBS rubberized asphalt compound which is integrally laminated to a blue engineered film. The membrane is specifically designed to be self-adhered to a prepared substrate. SBS modified membrane can be applied in temperatures as low as 10 F. Blue polypropylene film top surface and siliconized release film bottom surface. Excellent adhesion to prepared substrates of concrete, concrete block, primed steel, aluminum mill finish, anodized aluminum, galvanized metal, gypsum board, and plywood. Impermeable to air, moisture vapor, and water. Peel and stick application; no flame required. Factory controlled thickness. .9mm thickness. Self-sealing when punctured.
Exposable membrane is quick and easy to use. Made with styrene-butadeine-styrene (SBS) modified rubberized asphalt pressure-sensitive adhesive. Durable, puncture and abrasion resistant. A cross laminated polyethylene film is laminated to an aluminum foil for ultraviolet and weather resistance. Shrink Wrapped.
A polymer emulsion based primer for self-adhered membranes such as "modifiedPLUS", "SA, Blueskin, "SA, Blueskin PE200HT", "Blueskin WP 200" and "Low-Slope"; dries quickly; provides positive adhesion; not for sale in Southern CA; coverage: up to 500 sq ft/gal depending on porosity and texture of surface.
